Terms of use
Terms applying to the website, requests and portal, including the possibility of residential consumer engagements.
1. Service provider
Electronic contact is available through the website contact form. Professional details requiring confirmation will be published before any activity for which they are legally required.
2. Website and requests
The website presents engineering design and technical support services, accepts enquiries and provides a portal for managing requests, proposals, projects, participants, documents, changes and payments. Submitting a request allows the work to be assessed but does not constitute acceptance, an award or a contract.
3. Accounts and portal access
Users must provide accurate information, protect access to their account and report misuse. Access to requests and projects depends on organisation, role and assigned permissions. Access may be restricted or suspended to protect users, projects or the platform, or where use breaches these terms or the law.
4. Documents, participants and content
Anyone submitting files, messages or participant details confirms that they are entitled to share them and must limit information to what is needed. Unlawful, malicious or unauthorised confidential content, or content infringing third-party rights, must not be submitted. Client documents remain with their respective owners; only the permission needed to assess, deliver and document the service is granted.
5. Proposals and contracts
Scope, price, tax, schedule, deliverables, revisions, responsibilities, payment and permitted use of outputs will be set out in the applicable proposal or contract. If there is a conflict, the accepted proposal or contract prevails for the specific service. Scope changes follow the change process and may affect price or schedule.
6. Residential consumers
Services may be contracted by individuals acting outside their trade or profession. Mandatory consumer rights then apply, including pre-contract information and, for distance contracts, statutory withdrawal rights and exceptions. Any request to begin performance during a statutory withdrawal period will be addressed in the applicable proposal or contract.
Alternative dispute resolution body: to be completed when the professional address is defined and before entering into consumer contracts.
Where legally applicable, access to the Portuguese Electronic Complaints Book will be provided. Using an alternative dispute resolution body does not restrict the right to go to court.
7. Payments
Payments are made available only when provided for in an accepted proposal. Electronic processing may be provided by the payment provider identified at payment time. The platform does not replace legally required tax documents.
8. Technical information and liability
Public website information is general and does not replace an engineering design, opinion or validation for a specific situation. Outputs and responsibilities are those stated in the proposal or contract. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
9. Availability, security and changes
Interruptions may occur for maintenance, security or provider outages. Proportionate measures will be used to preserve integrity and access, without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation. These terms may be updated; relevant changes affecting ongoing services will be communicated where needed.
10. Governing law
Portuguese law applies, without prejudice to mandatory protections in the consumer's country of residence. An invalid provision does not affect the others. Questions about these terms may be sent through the contact form.
